Beginning Sounds Dominoes puts a phonics twist on a classic game format. The 28-piece set pairs a picture with a letter on each thick plastic domino, and kids take turns matching the beginning sound of a pictured word to its corresponding letter, chaining pieces together just like a traditional game of dominoes. Saying the sound aloud on each turn keeps letter-sound recognition front and center, and everything packs away in a collector’s tin between games.
