The Solar Rover Kit from 4M’s Green Science line lets kids build their own solar-powered rover while getting a hands-on look at how sunlight becomes motion. A high-efficiency solar panel converts sunlight into electricity to power the motor and drive the wheels, and reflective panels let kids experiment with different angles to see how they affect sunlight exposure. Built from lightweight materials meant to hold up indoors and outdoors, it’s a compact STEAM project that doesn’t require batteries.

• Solar panel powers the motor directly from sunlight, no batteries needed
• Reflective panels let kids test different angles for capturing sunlight
• Lightweight construction designed for both indoor and outdoor use
• Hands-on introduction to solar energy and basic mechanics
• Compact kit that’s easy to assemble and handle
